Stratford Heights student housing
5-06

photo/Andrew Higley

Students moved into the Stratford Heights community development across from UC's main entrance along Clifton Avenue in the fall of 2005.

Built on just over 10 acres, 14 residential Tudor-style dwellings are now home to fraternities, sororities, honors scholars and graduate students. French and Spanish immersion houses, where students speak only French or Spanish on designated floors, also take up part of this space. Other groups include the Presbyterian and American Baptist campus ministries.

Stratford was built by UC and its partners -- the University Heights Community Council and Greek Affairs Council.
