Design, business and engineering students from UC are taking part in the Solar Decathlon, an international competition to build the best completely sun-powered house. When complete in October, the structure will be transported atop four mobile home trailers to Washington D.C., to compete against 19 other prototypes from around the world. President Nancy Zimpher helped kickoff the event April 16.
